It's no secret that you only have a few seconds to grab the interest of potential customers and try to persuade them to stay on your site. Nor is it a secret that bells and whistles are not the answer. So how do you gain and keep the attention of your visitors? With killer copy! Words are the most powerful tool you have to do business on the Internet. Without the right words, you could be losing thousandsof dollars in profits. The best way to write effective sales copy is to put yourself in the place of the person who is reading it.
Ask yourself all the questions your potential customer is likely to want to ask, and then answer them for him. Here are four easy steps to help you reassure your customers by answering those unasked questions: Step 1. "What's in it for me?" Paint a picture Your customers don't care much about your background, how long you've been in business or how special you think you are. So the first thing you must do is promote the major benefits, for them, of using your product. But don't just list the benefits - paint a picture so your readers can visualise themselves enjoying these benefits.
Don't write: "Save time and money with Acme widgets," but "Free! Four hours a week to read a book, walk along the beach and follow your dream when you use Acme widgets - the quickest Widget on the market today." Step 2. "How can you give me this?" Explain why You must offer credible, logical reasons to support your claims or people are going to suspect your motives. "Acme widgets achieve faster results because we incorporate not one, but two gizmos. In controlled tests conducted by XYZ, our widgets consistently out-performed the competition in speed, accuracy and endurance." Step 3. "Why should I believe you?" Give reassurance This is the time to give some details about you and your company.Provide information about your credentials, qualificationsand experience in the field.
Now you can also include brief testimonials from satisfied customers (provide as much information to identify the customers as they're willing to allow (anonymous testimonials are almost worthless). Step 4. " What if I don't like it?" Eliminate the risk The final stumbling block for customers is usually the fear of losing their money if they don't like the product or find it's not what they expected - so offer your customers an iron-clad guarantee. It can be a full refund, a 'double riple money back' or whatever you feel you can afford. Always include a time factor - the longer the better - people like to know you'll be around for the long-haul.
Incorporate these answers in your sales copy to instantly turn your readers into buyers..
i9Check Offers Free Trial Subscription of Web-based I-9 Form Completion Software
i9Check is pleased to offer free trial subscriptions of its web-based I-9 form completion software. The recent arrests of 250 workers at Walmart stores demonstrates that the enforcement of employment eligibility (I-9) regulations is alive and well. Employers who refuse to properly complete the I-9 form or monitor its employees work authorization status face fines of up to $10,000 per worker. While the one-page form may appear simple, failing to properly incorporate the I-9 form into a company's new hire processes can expose the employer to civil and even criminal penalties. i9Check software alleviates the burdensome paperwork requirements associated with I-9 law.
It guides both new hire and HR representative in the completion of the I-9 form, ensuring that all necessary spaces are completed and proper documentation requested and presented. The web-based software enables Human Resources departments to complete and track its I-9 files over the Internet. This arrangement ensures...

5 Smart Ways to Unleash Your Potential
1. Be honest with yourself about your skills and abilities. Most of us underestimate how many things we do well. Figure out your skills & abilities, and look for ways to incorporate them into your life & work.2. Listen to compliments.
Use the feedback to help you identify your strengths and abilities. If it's tough for you to recognize your strengths on your own, let others help you.3. Exercise at least 3-4 times a week for 20-30 minutes. Exercise gives you more positive energy, dissipates negative energy and builds your confidence.4. Realize that you were given certain gifts, talents and abilities for a reason.
You are supposed to use them!5. Watch out for self-sabotage. Sometimes, it's easy to believe that success & happiness are meant for other people, not for us. Thus, we do activities that keep us from being successful (we procrastinate on positive tasks, we stay in negative relationships that bring us down, we develop addictions, etc.) Are you self-sabotaging?. <...

Branding: It's More Than a Logo
How clear is your image in the minds of your potential customers? How can you bring that image into focus? Defining, developing and maintaining a brand identity is the key.The word "branding" is frequently tossed about in the marketing and advertising world by marketing professionals and customers alike. Many times, what is being referred to as branding can be more accurately described as logo development or corporate identity programs at best. While a logo and corporate identity certainly are part of a branding program, they are only one piece of the puzzle. And when companies start their branding program with development of a logo or corporate identity package, they are getting the cart before the horse. So what exactly is branding? In doing research for this article, I came to the conclusion that branding is very much like what has been said about pornography: "I can't define it, but I know it when I see it."I define a brand image as being the picture that appears in a member of your...

Implement Trail Running in Base for Injury Prevention
The shoes we run in today are great for reducing impact. There are a myriad of devices, gels, air channels, etc., designed to lesson the compressive loads on the joints and body. One drawback, however, is that if you do most of your running on even, paved surfaces the lower leg muscles and joints do not have to work as hard to stabilize. Joint stability and integrity is crucial for injury prevention. This is where trail running comes in.Running over uneven and varied surfaces makes the muscles of the lower leg work especially hard.
Think specific strength training for the lower leg muscles. I recently observed how sore my lower legs were after a competing in an off road multi-sport event. The tendons, ligaments, and muscles all get stronger in response to this type of stress. There are a few considerations when integrating trail running into your training plan. Unless you run in off road events the best time to incorporate trail running into your plan is in base.
As with...
