According to the US Bureau of Census, 550,000 new businesses were formed in 2002. It is not known how many were incorporated. There were approximately 22.9 million businesses in the US. These are small businesses that form the backbone of the American economy. Small businesses represent 99.7% of all employers and create more than 50% of non-farm private gross domestic product.
Most businesses start out small.
In the beginning, data reveals that 82% of the small businesses are financed by personal loans or savings and loans from friends and relatives. Hence, when these firms grow large, it is important that easier access to finance from banks and the public is available. Moreover, the owners' liabilities have to be reduced to decrease personal and business risk.
A checklist for starting a business runs like this: select a business structure, choose a tax year, select accounting method and payment of business taxes. The need for incorporation arises if the business structure chosen is either a LLC or corporation. Either of these requires mandatory filing with state authorities.
If it is sole proprietorship and partnership, registration is not required, and business activities may begin immediately. In the cases of LLC and corporation, a lot of legal counsel, understanding the filing procedure, tax compliances, formation of business structure as per the type of corporation and the role of management and members are required.
The actual filing procedure is filling out proper forms and handing them over to state authorities where incorporation is done. Filing the papers can be done by hiring the services of an incorporating agency. These agencies file the papers in all the states required and provide some value added services including information of fees and duration calendars that vary from state to state. States like Nevada and Delaware are corporate friendly; therefore, most firms incorporate in either of these states..
Interfaith Wedding Ceremony Ideas
These days, it's becoming more and more common for couples of different religious backgrounds to get married. Many religions have embraced this fact-- in two of the four major Jewish sects, interfaith marriages are regularly performed, most Protestant clergy are willing to officiant interfaith marriages, and more and more Catholic priests, Conservative Judaism rabbis, and Islamic leaders are conducting interfaith ceremonies. Ask other interfaith couples in your area for recommendations if you're having a hard time finding someone yourself. Or, you could have your wedding performed by a non-religious officiant. You will still have the opportunity to incorporate religion into your ceremony if you do this, but it will eliminate the hassle of finding a religious officiant who's views about interfaith marriage are the same as yours. It may not be easy pulling off an interfaith ceremony.

Keeping an Attitude of Gratitude
When was the last time you stopped to acknowledge all the good things in your life? Very often, when we're focused on a 'big' goal, or just caught up in day-to-day living, we often forget about the things that bring us joy. And when we're feeling down, it's very hard to remember that they exist at all! Yet there is a definite physiological response when we acknowledge our gratitude. Try it now. Close your eyes and think of something (or someone) you're grateful for. Notice how your breathing changes? How it slows down? That you start smiling? And just feel better in general? It is amazing to me how something so simple can change my perspective.
No matter what my attitude was when I started, I feel better. And the more things I can acknowledge my gratitude for, the better I feel. Here's a simple way to incorporate gratitude into your life on a regular basis. 1. Start your day off by remembering what you're grateful for.
List everything you can think of. As you continue with...

Donut Making The Lost Art
DONUT MAKING
THE LOST ART
I believe donut making is truly a lost art. I am hopeful! I can instill my passion of donut making upon you in its entirety. With the advent of premixes, poorly trained bakers, aging donut shops and frozen donuts I have noticed that yeast donut varieties are not their. Moreover most yeast donut recipes "especially on the net" are incomplete and untested recipes that taste like bread.
The bakers of yesteryears that trained me would not appreciate me giving away secrets.
That's the way it is with bakers. They made every thing from scratch and guarded it well!
Essential ingredients batch with 80-qaurt mixers put into 55 gallon drums to last the week, a pre-mix as most bakers know it today.
After...
